Plan and Prepared Update!!

Well follow preppers, we find ourselves no longer on the fringes of society. We are no longer looked upon with bemusement or even outright ridicule. Events over the past year have opened up many to the realization that they need to be prepared. Be it pandemics, riots, shootings, and acts of pure violence, the western world is no longer as safe as it once was. And many in society have begun taking precautions and have started to prep!

That being said, it has been almost 6 months since my last article was published on this site. And for that, I apologize. I have taken on new and exciting responsibilities at work. I have gotten myself back to the gym, and have dropped about 25 to 30 pounds while adding some muscle tone. I have also had personal events in my life which have altered many of my prepping plans. As a result, I have found myself long on ideas for articles here, but exceedingly short on time.

So I set a goal this year that I would update the site, and get back to publishing articles that I hope you find interesting and informative. I am also working on developing new preps and plans as my situation (prepping wise) has changed dramatically.

As you can tell, the site has been updated with a new look. It is still a work in progress, so please bear with me as I work out the bugs. Let me know down in the comments section what you think about the new look.

I am also moving way from big tech social media. I believe in the 1st Amendment just as strongly as my belief in the 2nd amendment. (In ALL the amendments to be honest.) I find the censoring of my fellow countrymen and others throughout the world to be abhorrent!

Personally, I will NOT support those individuals, websites, tech companies, and businesses that do censor and restrict free speech. And as such, I have done away with my Facebook and Twitter accounts. You can find me on sites like Parler and on Minds.com. So if you are on those sites, please give me a follow.

In addition, I am slowly moving away from Amazon.com. Planandprepared.com has links to gear listed from Amazon all over this site. And with well over 100 articles on here, it will take me some time to remove those links and replace them with links to the same gear on other platforms.

The same applies to YouTube. As alternative video sites like Bitchute and Rumble grow, I will begin to use videos from those platforms. It will take some time to transition away from YouTube and even Google. But that is something that is in the works.

I have had some trouble in the past with the site’s Newsletter. But I think the issues are resolved, and that should be back in full swing. Click that link to sign up if you have not yet done so. It is a great way to stay connected and learn about the new things with this website.

And finally, I will get back to writing articles and reviews on prepping and preparedness. If you have been here before, hopefully you will stick around. If you are brand new, then welcome aboard!
